The Mitsubishi CUV hits New York
We could have also thrown in to the mix of the confused headline ’Mitsubishi Compact Crossover’ and then we’d have covered all the possibilities for Mitsubishi’s competitor in the Compact SUV market – think Hyunda ix35/Ford Kuga/ VW Tiguan. And it’s been rolled out for its North American début at the New York Motor Show this last week, hence the extra name to add to the mix. The Americans seem to think that the Mitsubishi CUV is going to launch in North America as the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and they may be right.

The new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake got its official reveal back in April (although we had to wait until July for the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake) , Mercedes has only now got round to revealing that the CLS Estate will cost from £49,360 for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake. The CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY has to make do with Becker MAP PILOT instead of the full fat COMAND multimedia system the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 63 AMG get, but all three CLS Shooting Brake models - CLS 250 CDI, CLS 350 CDI and the flagship CLS C63 AMG Shooting Brake – get DAB, leather, Parktronic, metallic paint and Bi-Xenons.
Genty Akylone - a 1000bhp French Supercar
The greatest Supercar in recent years hails from France, and with production of the Veyron coming to a close it looked as though France may lose its mantle of producer of the world’s fastest car to the Americans. But Genty automotive may have put paid to that with the reveal of the 1000bhp Genty Akylone. The Genty Akolyne is a rather generic-looking supercar, but one that promises incredible performance.
